Have you ever had someone tell you they love you? It’s a nice feeling isn’t it?

How about when a client tells you they love you. That ever happened?

It’s a little funky at first, but that’s the ultimate pinnacle of customer service. It’s only happened a few times in my life, but I’ve never forgotten it.

My client remembered what I'd had for dinner the first time we chatted. The meal was called Chicken Under A Brick. It was a fantastic meal and we had an inspired chat about vision and relationships in life—not about business.

You never know what will influence others, so be genuine, be yourself, and always tell the truth. You never know what someone will remember about you (like what you had for dinner) and the impression you’ll make in a quick meeting.

My grandfather always used to tell me, “If you always tell the truth, you’ll never have to remember what you said."
