Wouldn’t it be great to predict the future?
I’d love to know what the long term consequences of my decisions are before I made them.
Wouldn’t that be cool?
Long Term Consequences
What would happen if your investors never had to follow-up with you, but you always repaid every single month, on time? And emailed a photo of the receipt to your investors.
- They begin to like you.
- Then they love you.
- Then they bend over backward to help you succeed.
You could see all of that before it happened.
Would that help you make better decisions today?
Well, guess what? I just predicted the future for you. You’re welcome. No please, the pleasure was all mine.
They may have given you $50k on this project. But in 10 years, they’ll clamor to give you millions.
Because you’re a great investment. You always communicate. You always pay on time. They never are left awake at night wondering what’s going on with you.
If you’re just starting out. That’s the recipe for success. It’s hard, really hard. You have to make tons of sacrifices like paying everyone first and living way below your means. I mean like way below them.
But for the few brave ones that take this on, it can be quite worth all of the pain.
If you’re an investor or boss, reward those that live up to the vision. If one of your employees signed a huge deal and made a bunch of money for you, give them 3% of it. Why not? They’ll turn around and bring in an even bigger deal next year.
Treat other people how you want to be treated I guess is the motto.
And what would happen if we all could see the results of our great decisions before we made them? We might be encouraged to be a little better, try a little harder, and do our best as much as possible. Now get back to work!
