Scaling

Scaling

When NOT To Scale:

  • Don't just scale. Think about your Saturday afternoons with your kids.
  • Don't just scale. Think about the relationships that you really care about.
  • Don't just scale. Bigger may not be better.
  • Don't just scale. The Eiffel Tower was made once.
  • Don't just scale. Good relationships are everything and you probably have a few of those already.
  • Don't just scale. Life's not about quantity (ask Wall Street, or maybe not).
  • Don't just scale. You might not like it.
  • Don't just scale. Grow organically not with steroids.
  • Don't just scale. Unless of course you can scale back at some point. (Exit, sell out)
  • Don't just scale. Many companies fail because they grow too fast.

Enough of the generic, “How are you going to scale?” questions. Scaling is not the magic pill. More small business owners is never a bad thing.
