Take the Liberty
You have the freedom to exceed expectations (I have none, so anything over and above will blow me away).
Please take the liberty of impressing me—with your smile, your style, your quick response, your compassion, your attitude. Anything above and beyond your job description will do.
You may think this behavior is not required because the competition doesn’t do it. But in today’s online world where word of mouth has the potential to be seen by thousands of eyeballs, taking the liberty of wowing your customers is not optional. Also, since when do you care about how bad the competition is? Gaps in your competition are your cues to raise your game another level.
You have the freedom to show us who you are as a person through how you treat us as your customers. So go ahead and take the liberty. Please!
