The Speed of Trust (Part 2)—I'm SO NEEDY Right Now.

The Speed of Trust (Part 2)—I'm SO NEEDY Right Now.

You can only expand at the speed of trust.

Trust is like a bridge that connects worlds. Without it, the train arrives at the precipice between two mountains. The conductor shouts, “Everyone out! The next train will pick you up on the other side of the chasm!"

The passengers then collect all of their luggage and belongings, climb down the precipice, cross the crocodile infested waters, scale back up the other side only to go through checkpoint security again, board the new train, and take it as far as it can go until the next chasm arrives.

Traveling by train without bridges is like trying to do life without trust.

  • Cumbersome
  • Frustrating
  • Inefficient
  • and Impossible

It’s not how we humans were intended to interact. We were made to build trust, have relationship, and unify around a common vision.

Trust enables vision to be built. Teams to rally. People to be fulfilled. And the impossible to be accomplished.

Some bridges take decades to build. But they can be destroyed in a flash of dynamite (think things like lack of communication, betrayal and skepticism).

But once the bridges are built, your Trust Train can rumble from mountain to mountain without a single ounce of hesitation.

You can only expand at the speed of trust. When building a business, that’s a critical thing to remember.
